Hello Sullus, I am very interested in your topic but frustrated with so many pricey products to choose from, that are constantly being replaced. What would you recommend and what would the cost be for a device that can do video conferencing? Thanks
Thanks for the interest in the topic.I learned a long time ago that you cannot chase technology. I went to a conference in October and saw several people using iPads to take notes instead of the traditional pencil and paper notebook. I want the iPad, but know the camera is just around the corner with the next release. The iPhones range from $99.00 to $299.00 depend you storage space. The Facetime could be developed for video conferencing. Currently I believe the iPhone is only capable of one on one. I believe the Smartphones will be the mobile learning device for video teleconferencing.
Nice job on your video presentation. I have the second generation of an iPhone with with 16GB. It is really nice. It cost approximately $499.00. I received a discount and paid $299.00. :)
Hi Sullus, Nicely done. This assignment was difficult in getting it to fly. I think that with glitches removed, this was a good assignment. I just wish I could hav gotten mine on my blog. Thanks for reaching me by e-mail. I hope you enjoyed mine also. Joy
Nice job with the video. I like how you demonstrated the concept on camera. I have an iPhone, but I really don't use it to watch videos. It's something I've thought of doing, just never got around to finding stuff. Have you looked into the iPad as a tool? The larger format seems like it would be more conducive to elearning. Do you think the screen size is an important factor?
Thanks for the positive feedback. I have considered the iPad and almost made the purchase a couple of times. The large screen is better than the iPhone for me. I am trying to wait for the second generation iPad with a camera. I like the small compact device and the ability to have course textbooks available without needing a book bag. I believe the iPad will be a better tool for mobile learning than the iPhone, but cost will be more.
Terrific job Sullus! The message is clear, the voice is well balanced, not much feedback if any and great images. I particularly like the timeliness of your slide transition. I am not sure about the long pauses in the middle though considering that this is an intro to the a keynote speaker. Other than that, great job!
